Artist's Comments
This is my first attempt at a major digital art portrait which also has some scenery. It depicts a fantasy female overlooking the mountains yearning for her long lost love to return. I usually don't do figure drawings much as my favourite things to draw are sci-fi, aliens and cityscapes..etc, but i thought i might give fantasy/portrait a go. I did this entirely within photoshop CS using a tablet and took me overall 20 hours over 3 weeks. I used some photo reference for the face (nose, eyes etc.) and the rest is my imagination. Crits are welcome as it will only help me improve. Hope you like it.
